Lady of the hour Florence + The Machine

On the heels of last weeks VMA (win for best art direction in a video) a band that I have been secretly in love with has now become public knowledge (I’m a bit selfish, I hate when that happens).  Florence and the Machine is not a newbie when it comes to tantalizing the eyes and satisfying the eardrums. Her voice is a little bit rock and a little bit soul and the sound that emits when she opens her mouth is one that resonates with her listeners.

‘Heavy in your arms’ on the album for the twilights saga is disturbing, gritty, and at times  shaky.  It leaves viewers feeling eerie reminiscent of its twilight roots. In the end it’s memorable and definitely someone and something to take note of.

Ears to your speaker ladies and gents.
